Managing Waitlists

A waitlist allows potential attendees to join a queue when an event sells out. It provides an option to automatically notify attendees if tickets become available, ensuring you can accommodate demand and keep your audience informed.

Step by Step Guide

  1. Go to the Event Page.
  2. Click Edit for the event.
  3. Navigate to the Waitlist section.

Waitlist Configuration Options:

  1. Waitlist Activation:
    • Enable Waitlist: Toggle this option to activate the waitlist feature for the event.
    • Show Only When No Tickets Available: Toggle to display the waitlist option only when all tickets are sold out.
    • Show When Event is at Capacity: Toggle this option to show the waitlist when the event has reached its maximum attendance limit.
  2. Waitlist Description and Messaging:
    • Description: Use the rich text editor to write a description explaining the waitlist to potential attendees. This will display on the event page.
    • Call to Action: Set the text for the call-to-action button, which prompts users to join the waitlist.
    • Confirmation Message: Define a personalized confirmation message for attendees who join the waitlist, using tokens if desired.
  3. Communication Settings:
    • Enable Communication: Toggle this setting to allow for automated email or SMS notifications to waitlisted attendees, keeping them updated on ticket availability.
    • Waitlist Communication Table: This table displays all communication campaigns associated with the waitlist, such as sign-up confirmations or ticket availability notifications. You can edit these campaigns and adjust their settings.
  4. Waitlist Management:
    • Waitlist Subscribers: View and manage all attendees who have joined the waitlist.
      • Ticket Status Message: This displays the current availability status, such as "All tickets sold out."
      • Attendee Table: This table lists all waitlisted subscribers with details such as email, ticket type, date added, and actions for viewing or removing attendees.
    • Actions Toolbar: Use bulk actions to manage waitlisted attendees, including releasing tickets or moving them to confirmed attendee status if spots become available.
